My men’s baseball club here in Chicago was lacking in a cohesive brand and identity. During some down time, I created a custom lettering mark for uniforms. I borrowed from the same idea that the Red Sox used around the 1950s. Not quite the golden age of sports branding and I felt it made much more sense to have the sock flipped. This gave the mascot a little more natural look and more importantly, it made me giggle with his little legs sticking out.
I ran these ideas through our team manager and pushed out several apparel pieces with his full approval! You can find these all at good ol Cotton Bureau.
